Activating eLabEdit

eLabEdit is a plug in that:

• Allows you to edit files directly in your journal (no downloading or re-uploading necessary).
• Auto-saves every 5 mins in supporting apps (e.g. Microsoft Office).
• Stores it as a new file version in eLabJournal, ensuring GLP compliance and data integrity
• Maintains versioning history

But first you must activate it!

To do so you must go to the top panel and select “User” then “Apps & Connections”, “Download app*” and don’t forget to switch it on

*Downloading the app: ATTENTION, when downloading the app at a Windows OS be sure to scroll down and select to download eLabEdit, and not eLabConnect. If you are working with an Apple OS, be sure to download the eLabConnect instead of the eLabEdit.
