Long read sequencing was chosen as Method of the Year 2022 by Nature: “Academics have happy tales about how long-read technologies have empowered their genomics projects. A few companies have facilitated this journey, notably Pacific Biosciences (PacBio) and Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT).”
In this course, we will get you started with ONT so you can create your own happy tales. We will give an introduction to the technology, discuss the sample and library prep, give an overview of all applications and get you started with the analysis of the data.
