Instead of Bash you can also use Python to generate scripts with code that can be executed on the command line. We refer to our various Python courses for more info on how to program in Python.
A Python script is simply a text file with the extension .py containing executable Python code. Scripts are typically run by some kind of interpreter, which is responsible for executing each command in the script. This means you need a Python interpreter to run Python scripts, but no worries: Replit will ask if you want to install them.
To run Python scripts in command line, you need to type the word python
followed by the path to the script:
python my_script.py
